  1. There are no factual arguments for evolution. There are several against that false theory.http://themythofevolution.com/Site/Myth%...   http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=...

  3. There are scientists who believe in Creation, or in Intelligent Design at the very least. The main problem with evolution is that it doesn't work. There are no fossils of creatures half way through the evolutionary process. There is evolution within species - survivors being bigger, faster, stronger etc, but between different species? . I am a Christian and believe in Creation. I cna see that God created monkeys, apes and humans to a similar pattern. Hope this helps

  4. I believe in evolution .  But people should believe what is comfortable for them to believe .

When I was in 8th grade in Catholic school ,a very intelligent priest told me this and although I'm an agnostic I think of it when I speak to people who believe creationist theory.

He said " You can believe in evolution . It's not a problem . As long as you believe that at some point God stepped in and gave man a soul."

  5. The factual arguments for evolution are that we have a lot of fossils to prove it, as well as a lot of genetic evidence.  There are patterns in our non-functional, junk DNA that we share with chimpanzees, which can only be explained by a common ancestry.

There are also anatomical traits that point towards evolution, and against intelligent design.  The human lower back is very poorly designed, and has a lot of problems.  At least it does for creatures who walk upright.  It would be (and is) better suited for creatures who walk on all fours.   Our wisdom teeth don't serve any useful function, are hard to clean, and don't fit well in our mouth.  Many people need them removed.   Our fossilized ancestors had larger jaws, and needed more teeth.

I could go on, but you get the point.  Now, as far as the factual arguments against, well, there aren't any.  Most arguments against evolution (I'm restricting myself only to those which try to refute it scientifically or logically) are simply asking questions like "How do you explain this?" or "How could this have evolved in small steps/by natural means/by "chance"/ etc?"

All of the "challenges" have answers, but the askers aren't really interested in learning them.  They just want to impress on others the notion that evolution is impossible without even trying to find a rational explanation.

  6. scientists are for evolution while Bible thumpers proclaim that there is no way human beings are descendants of monkeys because we are supposed to be created in God's image.

And God can't be a monkey, right?

  7. Evolution is an expression of Creation that takes place in the observable sequence of change.  What is Created is Created into something else as its purpose changes, which we call Evolution.  Thus Creation and Evolution are one in the same.
