Question:

Evolution is the most inteligent design?

The idea that God set up the laws of nature and the structure of the Universe in such a way that all that is spontaneously blossomed into existence is more amazing and spectacular then spiting on the ground and making Adam. The more I learn about Evolution and Science, the more I glorify God for it.

Enoch was right when he described evolution in the word of God.

  1. I only have one thing with Darwinist evolution(and i do realize there are some scientific fossils to back up the theory) Why are there no species alive or known, including man involved in the next step of evolution? How come we dont see changes other than oddities that have progressed? Why have there not been any other apes changing?Do i beleive that we could have evolved, its possible, but the proof other than mere theories doesnt have me completly convinced

  2. Although I do not believe in God, I see no reason why the theory of evolution and the existence of God is mutually exclusive. I agree that if there is a God, it probably created evolution and the other laws of nature that govern our world. Your view is a very intelligent re-interpretation of traditional belief based on the currently available scientific data.

Flyboy: Just because we can't explain something doesn't mean it has to be attributed to a God. Your conclusions are based on your arrogance and cowardice. A few hundred years ago people believed things were the work of God that we can now show to be something entirely mundane and easily explainable. Humans can't explain everything and never will be able to. That doesn't mean anything other than that we are not Gods ourselves. Get over it.

  3. Ive got somethingthat spontaneously blossomed for you peckerrat. We were sh*t out on a stump and hatched out by the sun.

  4. I don't believe in a supreme being, but I do feel there is a unifying cosmic force whose tendencies are echoed in the physics of the universe. Evolution is misunderstood to be random. Organisms will always respond to their environment, and they will always adapt in order to survive. Even dying stars leave behind a means for new stars to be born. All things seek to continue their existence by some means. All things must consume other things in order to exist. Evolution is bound by the laws of nature, only the details are random.

Humans have spent most of their brief  time on this planet trying to put their finger on it through myths and stories. For the most part, we still don't have a clue. I am glad to see that there are Christians who can reconcile the truths of evolution with the truths of what they believe. That's a step in the right direction.

  5. I'm sorry, when did Enoch describe evolution in the Bible? Being against evolution is not being anti-intellectual. I don't understand why people feel the need to accept evolution lest their atheistic peers call them stupid or superstitious.

  6. Packinrat...right on.

  7. That is what I think.  Evolution is really a beautiful thing.  We grew out of this earth instead of arriving on it like a bird on a branch, if you want to be poetic, or rather like a bunch of aliens if you want to be more precise.

And, although, Agnostic myself, I really feel embarrassed for so many Christians who, in their opposition to evolution, express ideas and so-called "facts" which only illustrate that they have no idea what it is all about to begin with.

  8. My Father is a JW and also believes in evolution. We have different views on faith and science really but luckily we can talk about things peacefully. His view works Like this and I think it is wonderfully clever.

" The facts are the facts ....AND..... everything in the bible is true! Where they seem to be in conflict is a lack of my understanding of either the facts or the bible"

Now this man can actually machine any part by hand. He is a mechanical and spatial genius. I find it interesting that the smarter you are the more likely it is that you assume the failure in comprehension is in your own reasoning.

I like this question because it does not require that my faith in god has an IQ cap. The universe IS what it IS and it's Huge. How many Quantum Physics Prof. Believe in god or something greater? Most of them. I mean any amount of study in Sub. Atomic particles and you will begin to see the miracle it all is. The more I learn the more I believe!

  9. Close you eyes, and thou shalt not see. Where did God come from...please advise.

  10. u know what else? they say the big bang started with a sound vibration! gods voice? i think so!!

man u rock!! just what i always wanted to say!!!

    **hugs u**

  11. Right on , nicely put.

I would have to be brain washed any different

  12. Evolution does seem to the design that was used.

Flyboy:  The answer is that the Eukaryotic organism evolved a vastly superior way to reproduce from the perspective of evolutionary efficiency.  It allowed far greater control of DNA and sexual reproduction.  The evolution of the eye is even easier to explain.

  13. Many, many years ago Flyboy got a degree in engineering with a heavy emphasis on the science part of education.  (How long ago, you ask?  Well the term "plate tectonics" had not yet been coined and most geologists rejected the "continental drift" theory.)

So, armed with this education Flyboy was equipped to establish that all this around us could be possible without having been influenced by a Supreme Being.  But, the more Flyboy looked the more he realized that no theory of science could explain it all or even a lot of it.

Don't accept this?  Then I give the Darwinists out there a challenge:  Explain how for almost 1.5 billion years only single celled life existed on earth (blue-green algae) and then in a space of only about 10 million years there was an explosion in the number of large multi-celled organisms (Cambrian Explosion).  When you've given up on this then show how Darwinian evolution explains the existence of the eye.

  14. That's what I think.  No, I'm definately not Catholic.  I consider myself to be christian.  With God all things are possible.
