Can you explain To me, as I can't get passed this!

Why are Dinosaurs found in sediment?

Why are putrefied trees Standing?

Why are fossils of clams found closed up and not open?

iT WOULD TAKE SOMETHING LIKE A FLOOD.

Why did the Whale leave the ocean and then returned with a blow hole?

why when every thing was evolving do we find frogs, bees insects etc that are millions of years old, still around today the same in everyway

according to the specimens in amber?

Just a few,Can anyone explain this to me,

i would be greatfull thank you.

  1. You could have just as well written "It would take something like an alien spacecraft crash." First came the presentation of questions, a request for answers then a HUGE leap to an assumption that's so vague as to cover anything. The underlying message seems to be "Go ahead, try to explain it but my mind is made up."

We notice that your "flood" doesn't say if it's local or the worldwide flood of  the bible. Could you specify: if it was a local or global flood?; The source of the water required to cover that planet ? (note: Everest is 20,320 feet above sea level,so that's a good amount of water) and where the water went to?

    As for your questions:

Why are Dinosaurs found in sediment? Fossils are the remains of quickly buried plants and animals. At Vernal, UT there's a disnosur "quarry" that was once a gravel bar. Bodies washed down river (and the river's track is known) and hung up on the bar to be buried. If you watch the animal programs on TV you've likley seen herds of animals crossing a river. They always lose some and the bodies float downstream.

    Why are putrefied trees Standing?

The Petrified Forest by Yakima, Wa was buried by ash from an erupting volcano. No water was used. The Mount Mazama eruption some 6,000 years ago left ash deposits of up to 200 feet.

Why are fossils of clams found closed up and not open?

Why should they be open? Take a clam, bury it and see if it's shell can open (save the clam, the answer is "no")

As for whales, you forget to mention of their rear limbs have gone away, leaving just a few bones. Their evolution is well documented as it the migration of their blowhole.

As for critters that are the same today as millions of years ago, those that fit well into their ecological niches and are not presnted with changing conditions, remain pretty much the same.

Our suggestion is to do some critical thinking and some reading of science.

  2. "iT WOULD TAKE SOMETHING LIKE A FLOOD."

Could be sediment from a river delta. Could be the result of a local flood. Could be a small landslide, ash from a volcano, a blown sand dune, etc.

It could be many things. Give me a good reason to buy into the "worldwide flood".

"Why did the Whale leave the ocean"

The whale didn't leave. The whale descended from a common ancestor with dolphins and porpoises. That ancestor descended from an ancestor that is shared by odd and even toed ungulates, and litopterna.

"and then returned with a blow hole?"

Nasal drift. Seriously, look it up. The fossil record for whales is especially well documented.

"why when every thing was evolving do we find frogs, bees insects etc that are millions of years old, still around today the same in everyway"

They aren't the same in every way. Sure, they may look, to you, to be the same, but for a trained paleontologist, the differences are readily apparent.

Additionally, there are non-morphological changes that occur in the development of an animal that can't be fossilized.

Edit: If you want responses to these questions, you should really ask them in the Science & Mathematics section. I'm pretty sure you can stick stuff like this in the Earth Sciences & Geology section and have people explain how fossils form, or the Biology section, and have 'em explain how evolution works.

  3. It is nonsense to suggest that there are too many fossils to be accounted for by the Global Flood. Where do people get this rubbish from?

Evolutionists have great trouble explaining the existence of fossils at all. (Well they would if they took the trouble to think about it.)

It is very hard to form a fossil by uniformatitarian processes. Dead creatures get eaten in days, minutes or seconds. They don't hang around waiting to get covered by sediment over many years. The fossils are testament to catastrophe.

The fact that the whole world is covered in sedimentary rock, laid down by water, containing billions of dead creatures is just what one would expect after a Global Flood.

The Global Flood accounts for the existence the fossils.

The idea that dinosaurs died and got buried little by little is fanciful to say the least!

There fossils of fish in the process of eating and in process of giving birth. There are fossils of jellyfish, showing their soft parts that would rot in hours.

Clear evidence for the biblical flood in front of our eyes.

  4. Did you know that the Karroo Beds in Africa have been estimated to contain 800 million fossils? If the animals from this single bed were spread across the surface of the Earth, that would be 21 animals per acre, from just one fossil deposit. If you took every fossil on Earth, there would be literally hundreds of animals for every acre on Earth! And this only counts those animals that would have been "fossilized" in a hypothetical flood, not those that would have rotted away.

Insects evolve little because they can rapidly suit themselves to a particular environment because of rapid lifecycles. After that, they don't change much.

Here's an interesting fact, Whales have legbones. Sometimes, they're born with a mutation which unlocks their "leg DNA" and they're born with entire legs!

  5. I'll start with the clams as that is the easiest since it is blatantly false.  A simple Google image search for fossil clams will come up with several images of open clams..

But in order to play along, we will look at why clams open when they die.  Clams use a strong muscle to close their shells, and the opposing tendon acts as a spring that opens the shell.  After death the muscle decomposes faster than the tendon and the shell opens

    .

    http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?...

Now anybody that has ever dug up clams realizes that many bivalves live in burrows in the sand, so when they die, the sand will still act as a counter pressure to the tendon "spring" thereby keeping the shell closed until it is washed out in the open.  since fossils are formed by burial in a sediment, the clams that were already buried would still be closed.

This also answers why dinos are found in sediment... it takes sediment to form a fossil which is why not everything that dies forms into a fossil.

Also not everything is constantly evolving.  There are plants and animals that have evolved in the past that have a very successful survival strategy which barring a major upheaval in climate or ecology would not need to change, or die out.  However, your examples where similarities exist between early forms of an animal and current form does not prove a lack of evolution within that species.  A look at the history of crocodilians shows that; yes they have evolved since they first appeared despite a very successful survival strategy.

    http://www.wacona.com/promote/fossils/fo...

While there is a similar morphology, the prehistoric animals were not exactly like those alive today.  Dragonflies are a good example in that during the time they first appeared there was a higher oxygen content in the atmosphere allowing them to grow to a larger size, as the oxygen content decreased, only the smaller species survived.

For many more problems with the flood Hypothosis, (it’s not a theory as it has no data to back it up) see http://www.creationtheory.org/Arguments/...

  6. Sometimes floods ARE involved in preserving fossils, just not a world-wide flood. Dead things that weren't buried in some way by dirt didn't leave any remains; thus, fossils had to have been preserved or we wouldn't find them.

Putrefied? You mean Petrified? Standing? Dunno. A source would have been helpful here.

Why would fossils of clams be found open? (I'm GUESSING they've found some of both open and closed.)

"the whale leave the ocean and then returned with a blow hole"? Huh? No idea what you're talking about here, but you seem to be confused. Whales descended from land mammals, which themselves descended from sea critters (as did all mammals).

It's simply not true that everything is always evolving; most species have retained their characteristics through most of their existence. (BTW, a few millions of years isn't very old evolutionarily speaking).

If you want to actually understand evolution, and the overwhelming evidence showing it's so, here are a couple of links:

    http://evolution.berkeley.edu/

    http://www.newscientist.com/channel/life...

There are also a lot of books on the subject. Your inability or refusal to understand something doesn't make that thing false.

  7. Why are Dinosaurs found in sediment?

The anaerobic conditions where sediment are found are conducive to fossilization.

    Why are putrefied trees Standing?

Petrified.  Some were buried in mudslides and there roots held.  The ones that were ripped away floated to the suraface and decomposed.

Why are fossils of clams found closed up and not open?

Clams tend to close as they die.

iT WOULD TAKE SOMETHING LIKE A FLOOD.

Why did the Whale leave the ocean and then returned with a blow hole?

Actually, they returned to the water and then blowhole evolved.  The fossil record demonstrates that.

why when every thing was evolving do we find frogs, bees insects etc that are millions of years old, still around today the same in everyway

according to the specimens in amber?

They aren't.  Not one modern species matches the versions from millions of years ago.
