  1. People are evil. End of story. Ask Al Gore.

    The debate is now over.

    Go home and commit suicide

    That is all

  2. There is no way to tell.  Some natural event or social change that takes place in the future could influence human evolution but what changes will take place can not be predicted with any degree of certainty so we just don't know how humans will continue to evolve.

Also, like I pointed out in response to your other recent question, the term "Evolutionist" is meaningless.  All (well maybe only 99.99999999+%) biologists view evolution as the central unifiying theory of biology so if your question is directed toward biologists, then just call them biologists.  If your question is directed toward those biologists who specifically STUDY evolution, then you would call them Evolutionary Biologists.  As someone else in the other question pointed out, the term "Evolutionist" is a derogatory term made up by creationists.

  3. There is no reason to think otherwise. We may be pretty much at the end of our evolutionary journey, but if we check the question again in another few million years, we'll have a better idea.

Religion is often seen as antithetical to science; but just because one does not believe in the existence of a God has no bearing on whether or not they subscribe to a scientific theory: the Creation vs. Evolution conflict is non existent for them because they don't believe in God. If they want an explanation for how life came to be, it's probable that they would believe in evolution and other rational concepts.

One is that evolution occurs gradually and consistently.

The other is that evolution occurs as a result of competition for 'niches'..

While there is still much we do not understand in the area of evolutionary biology, the "serious flaws" don't exist. Though "problems" are usually fabricated by creationists.

The [present] flaws you are talking about will be corrected in time once enough evidences comes up. The beauty of science is that if there's a flaw, it will caught by other scientist and corrected. Some of Darwin's theory about evolution, before there were genetics, are now corrected.

Scientist agree that evolution happen. They only disagree on how and when it happen.

  4. monkeys again lmao

  5. Evolution theory, like all our modern theories, was discovered by generation-after-generation of naturalists who left their comfortable homes to explore nature.

Everything we understand about how reality works in modern civilization is theoretical.

To the extent that a theory is useful, it will be used.

To the extent that a theory is not useful it will not be used.

Given the power and the utility of theories that form the foundation of modern, technological civilization, a statement like the one above reflects an unfortunate failure to comprehend this.

  6. There's no reason to think we're evolving to be anything other than what we are, and much reason to think we're not evolving.

We're a huge population, spread out all over the globe. Were a beneficial mutation to come along, there's no reason to think it could spread through the entire human population.

Also, most species, through most of their time of existence, are not constantly changing, but remain quite stable.

If you understood evolution, there's a good chance you wouldn't have asked this question.

  7. Without the proper mutational event and selection pressure, who could tell?

Evolution can tell you about the past, the present, but is a bad forecaster of the future.

And what did I tell you about that word " evolutionists ' when you were over in biology?
