Question:

Evolutionologists, if everything in the universe is just shrapnel from a massive explosion, then why....?

Why are virtually all of the planets and stars round? I mean, if I plugged a bunch of dynamite into a garage and blew it up, most of the pieces would be jagged and burned and damaged. That's not the case with the universe. We have a bunch of planets and stars that are perfect circles. Not only that, the planets orbit the sun in perfect circular orbits. That doesn't sound like the end result of a colossal galactic explosion of condensed matter that was not created by Almighty God.

  1. Stand tall boy.

Such a display of willful ignorance, I have not seen in a long, long time.

Your church will be proud of you.

  2. Oh my.

You should pay attention in school.

  3. Everything in the universe ISN'T just shrapnel from a massive explosion.  So you're question is meaningless even before  you finished asking it.

  4. The big bang was not an explosion it was an expansion.

None of the planets have a perfectly circular orbit. The planets are shaped by gravity.

Do the world a favor and retake Biology.

  5. Well, in an explosion, you'd have tiny, perfectly round globules that melted, flew through the air, and then cooled.

That's only if there was no air to shape them with resistance, because you did it in space, and they hadn't shattered or deformed on landing, which they wouldn't in space, or if the explosion had been big enough and hot enough, which is probably not going to happen in the confines of your garage.

Stop setting off dynamite in your garage and use the money you'll spend on repairs for a physics class.

  6. No offense, but did you sleep through your middle and high school science classes?

    1.  The Big Bang was not a "colossal galactic explosion."  It was an expansion of space and time.

    2.  The planets do not orbit the sun in circular orbits.  Their orbits are ELLIPTICAL.  This has been known for nearly 400 years.

    3.  Most planets are spherical.  In fact, Earth is not exactly a sphere.  It is flattened at the poles.

    4.  The planets are the shape they are because of gravity.  Gravity pulls all of the matter towards the center, causing the planet to take said shape.

  7. Why would god make all those empty planets?

  8. Hehe, someone never graduated high school.

I'll give you a hint, it begins with G, and ends with 'RAVITY'.

And none of the planets orbit in perfect circles, nor are the perfectly round. Keppler discovered this over 300 years ago. Time for your education to catch up to the 16th century.

  9. It's like expecting a tornado to go through a junkyard and leave behind a fleet of jumbo jets.

  10. You are again spreading disinformation with your limited knowledge of science and the solar system.

    1) The orbits of the planets are ellipses.

    2) The Earth is not a perfect circle (maybe you meant sphere).

You have other mistakes in your statement, good luck identifying them.

  11. Have you ever seen videos from space where an astronaut opens a liquid?  Ever noticed how, given sufficient time, that liquid tends to form into spheres?  The same principle applies to the formation of stars and planets. And if you look at it on an appropriate (planetary) scale, your shrapnel is forming into (part of) a sphere.

  12. Seriously.

    Science.

Questions like this are answered by science.

Cosmology is the subject if you would like to look it up.

    Really.

Whole degrees offered in it and everything.

  13. you meant big bangist. not evolutionist.

  14. This is how material accretes when its attracted to other material in space.  It forms an orb.  Not a perfect sphere.  The planets also do not have perfect circular orbits.  They orbit in ellipses.

  15. 1. How the planets formed has nothing to do with evolution, which is about the development of plant and animal species on this planet.

    2. Why are you asking this in a religious group? Why not in a science or astronomy group?

    3. <SIGH> why do i bother going on? You'll just continue to believe that your deity waved it's magic wand and created it all 6,000 years ago, whatever I say.
