Manchester United's French full back, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Robin-van-Persie-c31380 went on to make the right decision by joining Manchester United, and he feels that it is wrong for the Arsenal players to boo him.
Van Persie went on to make a sensational move to Manchester United, following his sale from Arsenal. This move resulted in most http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 fans hating the player, and lashing out him, while they called him a traitor and Judas.
Now this seems to be justifiable for a short period of time, but these Arsenal fans seem to be following the trend, even though it has been almost on season since the striker left the team.
Following his move to United, Van Persie went on to score in both the games he played against Arsenal. At the same time, he went on to win the league title with United, having not won anything during his stay of nearly eight years with Arsenal.
Given these facts, Evra feels that Van Persie made the right decision to leave the Gunners and join Arsenal.
"I still don't understand why the fans boo him," he told reporters. "I am disappointed that the fans have quickly forgotten what he did for the club. I think he felt it as well."
"He hasn't made the wrong choice. It was a long time that he didn't win the league title [at Arsenal]. He has come to Manchester United and won it."
Manchester United's manager, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 Ferguson also went on to praise the striker, and admitted that he could go on to score thirty goals this season, given the fact that he is sitting just one shy of that mark, having scored in his last appearance against Arsenal.
"He has the chance to reach 30," the Scot told reporters. "If he does that, it justifies all our faith and hope in him."
The forward has proven to be a worthy addition to the United squad and should he keep playing like this for the team, he could prove to be one of the best signings that the Red Devils have ever gone on to make.
