  1. I am a CCMA

You should see a GYNO while some odor is normal if it is foul it is not and it could be a sign of an infection.. You can get them and be a virgin. You may also want to use a soap that doesn't change the pH of the v****a as this will cause odor, such as Summers Eve wash and wipes.. DO NOT Douche as this can complicate an infection

  2. You may need to douche once in awhile.  Usually about a tablespoon of vinegar in a douch bag will change the flora of your v****a enough to kill the odor.  or...You can also buy something like summers eve vinegar and water douches or some types of generic vinegar and water douches over the counter and use it while your in the shower and it helps.  I dont know if you have ever done this at 14,but it helps.  A lot of women have this same problem and I think they get used to the nasty odor because when they take their panties off WHOOO!  crotch rot smell is everywhere and they dont seem offended by themselves.

  3. Same thing with me! Although....I'm only 12 I'm gonna be 13 soon :/ So i'm really in trouble if it's an infection DX

  4. me to except it dosent smell horrible it smells a little

  5. This may sound weird or gross, but whatever lol is it actually your v****a that smells? Just stick a finger inside (like where your tampons go) and give it a sniff. If it smells fishy or otherwise nasty, then you need to go to a doctor because you could have an infection. But if it's just the outer area that smells, it's probably just body odor/sweat and leftover urine that is causing it. Be sure to change your underwear and shower every day. You can also use a feminine wash (they work wonders for odors) and get some wipes to use during the day. Vagisil powder works really well too, and it smells good!

  6. A diet high in sugar and wheat changes the acidity in the v****a causing it to smell...drink more water and eat well. And dont use too much soap as that strips the naural cleaning process causing bacteria to grow.

  7. Try using a more gentle soap like Dove or the Summers Eve Feminine Wash. You have to be sure you're not using harsh chemicals down there. But if it really smells BAD then you could also have an infection.

  8. I agree with most of the above answers. You didn't say whether or not you had any itching or burning down there or if you had any discharge. If you do that could be a sign of a yeast infection or a bacterial infection. If you are concerned about it talk to your mom. She will know if you need to see the doctor or not. If you take a lot of baths that can cause a yeast infection as well.

  9. for one thing never wash with soap. otherwise i would call yoru Dr or GYN, maybe you have a yeast infection...
