Ewan Dowes, Cameron Phelps and Danny Washbrook announce exit from Hull FC

Ewan Dowes, Cameron Phelps and Danny Washbrook of Hull FC have confirmed their exit from the club today, September 19, which is just a day after their Super League elimination play-off loss of 10-42 against Leeds Rhinos on Sunday.
This announcement was made after the trio failed to bag a new deal with their franchise. Dowes will be ending his nine-year association with the club, who joined in with Hulls back in 2003 from his previous franchise, Leeds. He was part of the Challenge
Cup-winning squad of 2005.The player also has the honour of being part of the 2006 Grand Final and 2008 World Cup final showdown squad.
The 30-year-old veteran wrote on his twitter about his official exit which said, “That was officially my last game for Hull fc last night. It's been an awesome nine years, gutted to be leaving. Gonna miss the lads and fans."
The player has been associated with the franchise for almost a decade, which is not a short period of time. His departure from his club will be a little hard for him and the club to get used to with, as he would not have imagined his departure from Hulls
with a defeat.
The news in speculation is that Dowes along with Washbrook will follow suit of their outgoing coach, Richard Agar and will join in with the Wakefield Trinity Wildcats.
Phelps, joined in with Hulls as Jordan Tansey’s replacement, in lieu of the Tansey’s ousting from the job. The player was communicated earlier this week about his elimination from the squad.
Phelps wrote on the same website, "Thanks for the year found out Wednesday via letter that I wasn't to be re-signed. Enjoyed hull. Wish I could stay.”
Phelps is a Federation trained player, who is on a look-out for the future employment, with his brief stint at Hulls coming to an end this soon. Previously, he was part of the title winning squad of Wigans.
Washbrook will be ending his six-year stay at the franchise, who believes that his exit could not get more “disappointing”
