Terek Grozny new boy, Ewerthon de Souza, is delighted following his switch to Russian Premier League from the Brazilian club, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Palmeiras-c40165. The gifted striker had scored eight goals in 29 appearances for his former club.
Having served in La Liga, Bundesliga and Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A, Ewerthon believes he has a lot to give to the Russian Premier League. Ewerthon has admitted that all that matters for a professional is to win with a bigger club, participate in big
tournaments and receive playing time. Playing as a bench warmer in a league of your own is no good, reveals the Brazilian.
Ewerthon revealed that Terek tabled a lucrative offer which was too good to be refused and the negotiations resulted in his transfer.

The former Zaragoza winger was quoted as saying.
The former Borussia Dortmund ace admitted that the Russian Championship has become more competitive and he would love to test his skills against the Russian clubs participating in major European tournaments like UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League.
“I know that every year it is getting stronger. Some of them appear in European competition and more importantly, achieve impressive results. Of course, I know that in 2018 Russia will host the football World Cup. It will be a great event” Ewerthon went

Khaidar Alkhanov, vice-president of Terek, was also delighted with the signing of the experienced winger, who can also play as a lone striker.
The Chechens have been active in the transfer market, having already captured Birmingham City midfielder, Martin Jiranek. The Czech national made his decision to depart from St. Andrews after the relegation of the English Premier League club.
Terek Grozny are hitting top gear after sacking the party animal, Ruud Gullit, from the post of head coach. Isa Baytiyev has stepped up from the assistant manager post to claim the vacant position. Since Baytiyev’s appointment, the club are looking in good
shape and have collected valuable points on the league table.
