It is about to diameter of a #2 pencil lead. I am most concerned to know if this is a parasite & dangerous to me or my pets. I have it now in a cup ready to be released or disposed of properly. Thanks for your help!!

  1. sounds like a garter snake, harmless and good for your yard, let it go

  2. o your visitors have any visible legs? If not, they could be slugs, shelless relatives of snails; their eye stalks could be mistaken for antennae - see http://www.dkimages.com/discover/preview... for an image. If they do have legs, there are several possibilities, but I would need to see them in order for a positive i.d. - would it be possible for you take some close-up photos that you could then attach to a follow-up question? If this is not feasible for you, please tell me your state of residence, and I should be able to refer you to a more local source for assistance.

  3. FOE if u have pets it will spread to them and it could spread to u and all of ur pets call an exterminator just to be sure none snuck in the house

  4. kill it or move it to the dirt or grass.

  5. foee ,,

here are the three signs to know if a bug is friend or foe:

    1 . it smells bad

2 . its crawling out in the open (because it probably has nothing to hide , poisonous maybe)

    3 . it tastes funny

  6. Aside from all the sarcastic comments, it does not sound dangerous. It probably would rather be in the grass than on a door. Just toss it in your lawn. Good luck.

  7. if it has snakelike  tongue let it go. It may be a baby snake.

  8. i think its a foe and it will attack ur whole family so send it down the toilet b4 it explodes and kills everyone and has babies and takes over the world!!!!

  9. if it has scales and eyes and breathes with lungs it's a garter snake (those usually havea white stripe along thier backbone tho)and it's harmless and beneficial if that's the case.

if it's slimey it could either be a slug(bad for your garden, but otherwise inoccent and ok to let go) or a leach(parasite, sucks blood) or a roundworm, possibly a parasite.but there's no way i could tell you what it is unless i saw a good, close, in focus, picture.

if it has eyes, lungs, and legs,it could be a small newt.

you can do an online seach for local animals and bugs. or you can go to your local colledge and get it identified positively, or even call your local collodge and they could tell u.

  10. IT IS A LEACH THEY LIKE DRINK YOUR BLOOD& THEY CAN KILL YOU
