can anyone tell me what the heck the M.I.S.C is i am coming back home after living in america for the last 9 yrs & every job site i look at states the driver got to have his / her MISC i got no idea what this is .

one other thing is friends in australia are asking me why i am returning to australia after 9 yrs they reckon i should stay in the USA but i feel the calling for home again what would you do ? by the way i just got divorce over here in the usa got friends here but all my family is there in aust plus i am getting up there 55yr old and i feel australia can offer me more in relations to health & down the road pensions

  1. yep. What the above guy said. Also if you deliver freight to certain places (eg rail yard, steel works etc) you will need to go through induction or pay for an escort.

    Loads of trucking jobs over here..


  2. its not m.i.s.c its msic card, which stands for Maritime Security Identification Card which you will only require when working on or around wharfs.
