  1. I went from being a waitress to being a Benefit Specialist (basically health insurance billing and working with patients and their insurance companies) for a pediatric physical therapy facility. I came in as a temporary help to a family friend and did so good they hired me a few months later. I had no experience, but learned quickly. Now I make good money and have benefits etc.

  2. I went from making $2.43/hr plus tip waiting tables most of my life.  Now I am an Administrative Assistant/Office Manager making $12/hr plus bonuses and benefits.  You should really try getting into whatever you're good at or can learn fast and do well.

  3. Well i went from Hostessing\Waiting table for a year, to cooking for a year in the same resturant. Then I worked at a Sears dealer outlet store, and now Im a Montessori preschool teacher.

  4. I became a teller in a bank, then a branch bookkeeper, then I went to college for Engineering Graphics and got a job doing HVAC drafting then I got sick of all of it and quit and now I'm a grandma and babysit my granddaughter 4 days a week and we are expecting a new grandson very soon.

  5. try sales...if you made a good bartender/server, chances are that you're good with people...try a commission based job that deals with people.
