  1. If you can find out his racing name from previous owners then you can look him up on www.pedigreequery.com... that will give you his breeding and the number of times he raced and how often he placed.  You can also search the internet for his name and it might give you a news story if he won any important races... if you have an idea of the area that he raced, you should search the websites of the tracks in that area (like if he's an Ohio-bred you would search Thistledown and River Downs and Beulah Park).  The only way you can get any info without paying for it is by contacting the previous owners and tracing his history back to his racing connections.

Paying the Jockey Club for the info is expensive, but at least they give you a lot of info: name, breeding, race records.  Since it's your horse, it's not really that bad of a deal.  I spent a lot of internet time looking for my lesson horse's info and finally gave up because I knew there was no way to find it without paying for it from the JC... and since she was just a lesson horse, it was kinda silly for me to ship out the $35 when it wasn't even really my horse.

You can try variations on his name in the pedigreequery.com search... you could get lucky and find him.  My horse's name was Sadie so I looked up a lot of names with Sadie in them, but couldn't find anything.  Maybe you'll have more luck.

  2. You can pay the jockey club to get more information about it.  I used to have a TB and considered doing it, but it was too expensive.  Look on their website.

  3. daily racing form might help you...drf.com goodluck!

  4. You will probably have to pay for it most likely but good luck with it.  Best answer please.
