  1. I am huge fan of the emotion fishing kayaks. I have had mine for 2 years and I still love it. Below is the link to there site. They have a fishing model but I just got the regular kayak and then mounted a rod holder in front of me instead of behind me. They are very sturdy and large. I have the edge model.

  2. ocean kayks prowler is vey good and a lot of kit is available for it

  3. I fish from an Ocean Kayak Prowler 13.  It's fast, maneuverable and I've never felt like I was going to tip over.  I use a Humminbird fish finder because the scupper hole just behind the seat is built for a humminbird transducer.  I fish mostly on the east side of Hawaii Island in fairly rough and windy conditions.  I catch Mahi Mahi, G.T.'s, small game off the bottom and even an occasional shark!  Another good Kayak is the Prowler Trident.  That will probably be my next yack.  You can check out my kayak fishing pics on Flickr.

    Aloha!

  4. I've read good things on the Prowler, but there are a lot of options out there.  Here are some great resources:

  5. Look at the Malibu Pro Explorer.  It's a little dry than many sit on tops.  Lots of room in the cockpit with a large convenient hatch.  Easy to manuver. stable--some people can stand up in it.  Not me.....I'm a klutz.  It's great for fishing.
