I have no idea. i mean, the one off apple's website is 50 bucks which is a rip off. so i was looking around and found a few that range from $5-20. so i was thinking about buying one, cuz that is a huge difference, and im willing to risk 10 bucks on something like this. I have an ipod touch and i watch a LOT of movies on it (i have 15unwatched movies ready to go for my upcoming vacation to the beach and it would be a h**l of a lot easier to plug it into a tv and watch it than on the little 3.5 inch screen). But when i compared the 10 dollar ones to the 50 dollar apple ones, the apple ones come with a "USB Power Adaptor." Why is this necessary? do you have to plug it into an outlet to use it? and also, some cables plug directly into the audio outlet and then into the av outlets on the tv. how does it transmit the movie thru the audio outlet? strange.
and another thing. some plug directly into the charger port, while others plug into the audio. whats the difference?
