You can expect him to keep talking about his p.o.w. days. Not once during the convention did I hear any of the Republicans talk about something other than McCain's p.o.w. situation decades ago, or the war. There are other, more pressing issues in this country at the present moment than the war, like the economy, which is the number one issue among Americans who actually need to worry about which way the economy is going. The Republicans are living in the past, and everyone knows it. And even they know it. And it'll be interesting to watch McCain try to shake off Bush's endorsements and ideas much longer.

More of Bush?   I suppose thats why McCain didn't have much support from the Republican party a year ago.   He only got support from the party when it was obvious that the voters were going to pick him over the other republican candidates.  

When do you think the last time Joe Biden or Obama had to eat bologna sandwiches so they could pay their electric bills on time?   Their not much better either.  

When I saw McCain stand in front of a group of Iowa corn growers and tell them he didn't beleive they should recieve ethanol subsidies, that was the proof I needed to Trust that McCain will speak the truth about where he stands on something, not do like obama and say what the people he is speaking that day want to hear aka flipflopping.

To make the exact same decisions bush has for 8 yrs.MCCain has been a huge supporter of bush.He backs bush 90% of the time.I dont know about u but that scares me!

John McCain shouldn't have to feed your family. That is YOUR responsibility. Don't have a family if you can't take care of them.  

Respect his background in the military...he has earned respect for at least that much.

You really should be afraid of the state our country is in as far as terrorism is concerned.

He is not George Bush. I think that much is obvious.

I think you need to stop listening to this 90% of the time c**p and actually take the time to see what exactly he voted with Bush on. Chances are it is the most petty of issues he agreed with Bush on. Take a look at the other ten percent.  Maybe the guy learned his lesson and saw that what Bush did didn't work? Hmmm...is that possible?
