  1. I would suggest going online. Go to the website of the manufacturer of your oven and you will most likely be able to download an instruction manual. If you can't there should be a contact email address (or even a phone number) where you can ask the question.


  2. A "self-cleaning" oven works by heating up the inside of the oven to about 700 degrees F. This burns any residue on the interior surface to an ash, which is easily removed from the specially coated surface.

    If you can, use the self-cleaning cycle. If you can't figure it out or it doesn't work, you can use standard oven cleaners (like Easy Off). Just know that this may damage the interior surface, such that it will never effectively "self clean" any more. Think of it like stripping off the teflon from a teflon coated pan.

  3. if it is used I would give it a good cleaning with Easy Off..they have some almost fume free ones now.   then check online for the manufacturer instructions.  they may even send you a manual.
