  1. Be more specific, auto co's, tire co's, motor co's, sponsors. What you are looking for is an ever changing # not the same one day to the next

  2. Bass Pro Shops, Miller Brewing, Kelloggs, CarQuest, AAA, US ARMY, Budweiser, Valvoline, Fed Ex, Alltel, Avis, Kodak, Menards, 3m, Dewalt, Interstate batteries, M&M/MARS, Best Buy, Garmin,

This question is going to take me like at least a year to answer so check back with me 08/05/2009 hopefully they won't be any new companies by then???? Oh wait, Stewart-Haas that's a company too!!!

Race teams are companies, Let me start all over.....

  3. Yeah def. an impossible question to answer, but you know that there are atleast 43 main sponsers, but of course most of the drivers have 2 main sponsers that they switch back and forth, so that right there is 86. Then you have all the other companies that have their name mentioned by the drivers and commentators and then there are the companies logos on the vehicles!! Atleast 20 different on each car (estimate) so thats 1720!! Oh lord almighty I really have no idea!!

  4. Impossible, because there are so many companies, and they are coming and going so fast that a static number cant be given.

  5. Yes, this is a hard 1 to call. Considering the 43 Sprint Cup & Nationwide Series competitors & the 36 Craftsman Truck competitiors. (See already I named 3). Along with their associate sponsors as well as the sponsors who adorn thee sides of the cars with the smaller decals.

Also the sponsors of the many various awards throughout the weekend, the most prominent being the Coors Light Pole Award, as well as the sponsors of the races throughout the 25 to 36 race season.

Your best bet would be to run the list of competitors in each series (2008 Team Charts) & I guess assume the others.

On a guess I'd say 300 or more...

  6. that depends upon what you mean by "companies involved with NASCAR." there are not only those companies involved in sponsorship at the driver, car, team, track, and series levels, but there are so many others that are involved with NASCAR the regulating body itself, the tracks and all their consultants and vendors, all the companies that each team deals with in the preparation of the cars, the stocking of their shops (from parts to toilet paper), etc., the television networks, their parent and child companies, their vendors and consultants, and the list goes on and on...

  7. Is a Butt-load a real number.

I suppose that number is available, but I don't have the desire to count that high.

    LOL

  8. Think a better question would be is how many will be left in a couple years  with the failing economy and poor show NASCAR is putting on
