This is somethin i been wonderin about for a minute and Mr. NR just reminded me... being down south, I'm used to hearing local artists and other artists throughout the south being played in a club. (Thats how they do it btw... get rotation in the club till its heavy enough for radio play). You might hear some ish like "I get money", but thats about as deep as it'll get into the east coast sound... its *LITERALLY* about 90% southern ish lol... and I assume that for the most part, the other regions aint really feelin the southern/dance songs enough to get that 90% rotation, and it makes alot of sense for (lets say an eastcoast club) to play east coas artists, but what kinda songs would those be??? cuz i dont know of any artists from the other regions where you could say somethin like "he just makes club songs"

  1. The clubs i go to its usually just the sh*t u hear on the radio/TV but there are events that have strictly East Coast or West Coast from old school to underground

  2. They play all type of music.  The one I go to play, regular on the radio music, lil john and ying yang twins type of music, reggae, and baltimore club music.  Thats mainly what I hear, I never hear local artists, unless they are well well known.  Like Gillie the Kid and Meek Mills.

  3. man east coast aint comin out wit nothin lol,the stay underground like worms

  7. I live in the west coast, and over here there are all sort of clubs in many genres. In the east coast where I was born is pretty much the same. It all depends on the area in which your from. Bigger cities will follow what is in the musical trend of today, whereas small towns and unknown places will be stuck back in time. I use to live in Wisconsin, and they are stuck back in time.
