  1. They need to root out the extremists and turn them in if they want to regain trust. You can't bite the hand that feeds you and then complain.

  2. i dont think its fair that all muslims are categorised according to a small group of extremists. Islam means peace and does not advocate t he killing of innocents.  In response to those above who said let them (muslims) root out the extremists from within. its really not that simple. the ones who know extremists are probably extremists themselves. that said its a very small population who are contributing to this demonisation and i dont think its fair for people to strerotype. think of the situation as similar to the irish and the IRA.

  3. Do your own homework

  4. As I do with all religions, I believe there are extremist in every faction. This does not mean the entire religion is at fault, only those who seek to use it for their own ends. There are no exclusions within this idiom, each and every religion has it's moderates and it's extremist.

Though I do not believe that any of the religions are good because of their quality of stagnation rather than growth. I realize there are many people for whom there is so much misery in their lives they must cling to something, even an intangible like religion or God to make since of things.

More is the pity that humanity is still so insecure, needy and infantile that we still need the specter of a God to make us feel better about ourselves and explain away all of our atrocities in the name of God. We've still got a lot of growing to do.

  5. They did it themselves, what with mass murder and constant threats to kill everyone who doesn't agree with them.
