Is double negation the same as double negative. I hate philosophy. lol :)

  1. it's the philosophical equivalent to a double negative.  Yes!


  2. "I didn't do nothing."

    The intention of this is to say that I did nothing, but in terms of English the nothing gets negated - so, I did something, because I did not do nothing.
