  1. A negative feed back response is one in which bring the body BACK to normal/homeostasis.

    Therefore, using temperature change as a stimulus in humans we can show this type of feedback.

    When the body gets too hot, one of many negative feedback response for the body is to sweat. Sweating cools the body down and so hence ... it brings the body back to normal temperature!

    When the body gets too cold, one of many negative feedback responses for the body is to shiver. Shivering warms the body up and so ... again bringing the body back to normal

    You go from an average heat into cold, and after awhile, your body gets so cold that it needs to keep warm to maintain homeostasis. Your muscles expand and contract, therefore your shivering.
