Examples of leadership roles?

can anyone give me examples of leadership roles colleges look for? i'm a high school sophomore by the way

im a college freshmen this year, & i got into my top choice univerisity so here are some of the leadership roles i did & that probably helped get me into UC Santa Cruz:

-varsity tennis captain

-art club president

-kiwins vice president

-AVID club secretary

-league MVP tennis, singles

-a lot of community service hours doing various activities

except for tennis, i joined all the clubs junior & senior year. so dont worry, its not too late. u should look into all the clubs, sports, & programs ur school offers & see which ones interest you. go to a meeting or 2, & if you like it then join it & try running for an officer position (pres, vp, sec, tres, etc). & if u end up joining one, try to stick with it, cause if you end up droping it, u might as well should NOT put it on ur application, cause colleges do not like it when people give up.

also, look into things u can do in ur community. this summer im volunteering at an animal shelter. it is soooo fun & it counts as community service. so when i apply for scholarships next year (ohh yeah, ive got about $8,000 in scholarships alone from my community), i can include my community service info.
