Examples of too much eye makeup?

Question

when people tell others don't wear too much eyeliner and stuff, it doesn't exactly put a picture in my mind.

anyone have examples of too much eyemakeup?

pictures are best, and maybe a description? :)

for example

if their eyes are so dark you cant even see their eyes

When they wear eye make up its so heavy you can peal it off

They have so much eye make up on you cant even imagine what color is      behind it

Basically, too much eyeliner can make you look dead and/or sleazy.

Ok. So this is always gross - the cat eyes.

It's kind of a combination of sleazy and gross.

And here's the way a lot of girls do it, and it takes away from the natural beauty of your eyes.

A lot of the time, it makes your eyes look smaller. Too much eye makeup just starts to go into the negatives, if you know what I mean.

So basically.. a good amount of eyeliner is like this :

Sometimes , it looks like you're wearing more eyeliner if your skin is paler.. so if you're wearing black eyeliner it can be considered 'too much' if you're pale-skinned.

Such as this picture:

It's not THAT much eyeliner, but her pale complexion makes it look like a lot.

Also, liquid eyeliner tends to make you look older, and it's cosidered too much sometimes. It spreads out more, because of it's liquid texture; normally the stick kind is so much better.

But honestly.. the best color eyeliner to me is brown. My skin tone isn't dark; but it's a nice shade of tan; and brown looks great on the color:

Also, a nice navy blue is great, as well . Not so bold:

White is a great choice as well; especially for blue eyes; they make them pop without making it look like you're wearing makeup at all:

Now, here are some examples of too much eyeliner. Often; teenagers overdose with the eyeliner; especially scenes/emos/gothics . Not to slap on labels, but that's the category they're most often found; also 'cat's eyes' eyeliner can also be considered too much .

If you look like you are going out on halloween night everyday, that is too much. I just use mascara and a LITTLE BIT of black liner (because i have black hair). If you have lighter hair use a brown liner and  mascara, you will look more natural.
