Exceeding the limits....?

Question

When using Motrin IB, on the drug facts it says do not exceed 6 tablets in 24 hours unless directed by a doctor.

does anything happen if you do exceed 6 tablets in 24 hours?

if so, what happens?

& why should you not exceed 6?

Why are you taking that much Motrin? and used as directed via FDA regulations on being safe? IF you have to take more then go to the doctors.

Many drugs can cause stress on the liver or kidneys if overused. Can also cause stomach upset or digestive issues, though it MAY not cause a problem  if you take more than recommended only once in a while. Repetitive overuse of any drug will likely cause problems down the road.
