Excel 2007 crashes in Vista when trying to save?

I already had office 2007 on xp. Recently upgraded to vista home premium. Needed to make an excel file, so I opened up Excel, started working on the spreadsheet. When I went to save the spreadsheet (ctrl+S, click on save). The box opens up (the box tht shows the path of the file). This box doesn't load all the way and Excel crashes. This happens also when trying to open a file in excel from within excel (meaning: open excel, thn go click on file>open).

The first thing to try is to reinstall Office 2007 in Vista.
