I have columns B C D E. I want to add C&D divide it by B and get the percentage in the E column. How do I do that? Thanks.

  1. Unless they've changed formulas in excel2007, the first answer won't work. You need to put the full range of cells in, not just a column reference.

    so do

    =(SUM(C1:C10)+SUM(D1:D10))/SUM(B1:B10)

assuming C1 to C10 is where your data is at.

  2. easy in E column put =((C+D)/B) and then format the E column to %
