I want to know how to reduce or remove or to hide 3 digits form the cell

For example I calculate 600 x 1700 x 1.6 x 1.02 the answer will be1, 664,640 I want to roundup the last three digits to 2 like 1,665.00 hope you understood

  1. right click on the cell(s) you want to change style to.  Then click format cells.  When that opens it is defaulted to number tab, click general, and then specify  how many decimal places you want.


  2. Format the cell this way

    #,##0.00,

  3. = ROUND (1664640/1000,-1)

    RESULT: 1665.00

    This will round down if <5.

    To make it always round up, use = ROUNDUP ()
