Except for the size, is a regular-sized SD/SDHC Card exactly the same as a mini/micro SD/SDHC card?

My camera/camcorder uses a regular-sized SD/SDHC card. I plan to buy a 4gb SDHC card. Will it make sense to buy a micro SDHC card instead so that i can have the flexibility of using it on my camera (with an adaptor) and also, on my other devices that requires the smaller microSDHC? Doesn't a mini/micro SD card have relialibity and longer usage life issues because of its smaller size?

  1. yes i suggest buying a mini sd because they come with an adapter so u can use it on cameras (regular sd) so then it will have more uses

  2. Generally it's the same - inside and out.

no problem with that as long as you buy the right one for your camera and have it tested on it before actually buying it.

The mini w/ adaptor surely fits but not sure with the micro.

    Have a nice day!
