Question:

Excess air in my freezer packages?

Lately the plastic bags of food in my freezer are all puffed up with air, although the food inside doesn't seem to have freezer burn. This is happening on unopened packages from the market as well as plastic freezer storage bags that I was sure to have squeezed the excess air from. Is something going on with my freezer?

  1. Either you bags are leaking (unlikely because it is happening to all of them) or the expansion and contraction cause by your freezers defrost cycle is so sever that it is allowing air to get into the bags.  Very strange I must admit.
