  1. Excessive sweating or primary hyperhidrosis is the condition characterized by abnormally increased perspiration, in excess of that required for regulation of body temperature.  It is very effectively treated with higher concentrations of aluminium chloride (primary ingredient of most deodorants) or botulinum toxin (Botox).

You should see a doctor and take advantage of the medical treatment available to you in mitigating this personal problem before it begins to effect your quality of life.

  2. I sometimes get shocking sweat/ heat rashes as well from the excessive sweating (especially when I was/am in a shoulder immobilisers sling), the best thing I have found for it is Curash Anti-Rash Family Powder, it is a powder especially for sweat and heat rashes and it "includes zinc oxide to soothe, treat and help prevent rashes, skin irritation and chafing it also treats rashes by soothing the irritation and reducing the redness it also absorbs excess perspiration and the zinc oxide provides a protective barrier to moisturize, helping prevent rashes".

The one thing I have found that helps a lot is diet and exercise. When I am eating healthy I notice that I sweat less. I'm not sure if it has to do with the reduction of sugar or fats or maybe both, but it definitely makes a big difference.

Also, exercising makes a difference. When I intentionally workup a sweat I seem to sweat less during the day.

Of course when I am excited, nervous or anxious I tend to sweat more than others too. So I try really hard to chanell those emotions as best I can.

    Good Luck
