Exchange Student Help?

Hi im a freshmen (14) and im going to be a sophmore. Im from nj so i can speak english very well and i was born in europe so i have a european union passport.I want to study in Spain so i can learn Spanish thru a exchange.Can someone help me out and find me a good excange where i can go to spain and be there for 2 months and then come back. I really love the Spanish language and i want to learn it ! Thanks ALL HELP APRECIATED

  1. Hi!

    First, I would suggest that you go for at least a semester, or better yet a year! That would be ideal and be much better for your language skills!

    Most organizations will offer a summer program, semester program and year program. You can find a list of those certified to operate in the U.S. at www.csiet.org. You should also check with your school counselor for a recommendation. An organization is only as good as it's local representatives. Generally, AFS, Aspect, Rotary and YFU are reliable everywhere.

  3. well you can usually apply for an exchange through your school, I'm not sure how you would go about it though, try speaking to one of your teachers, preferably someone from the foreign languages dep.
