Exchange Visitor - Will i again subject to 2 yrs HRR?

Question

Hi , I am an exchange student with J1 visa , I have got j1 waiver for the current period.And now my company is ready to extend my internship for another 6 month , my question is "Will i be subjected to 2 Yrs HRR again by extending my internship for 6 months ?As i mentioned before,,,,i have allready got j1 waiver.

Please help me in this issue

If you're subject to the 212e requirement, you don't continue to accumulate 2 years residency requirements each time you extend your internship. You won't have a 4 or 6 years residency requirment at the end of the internship, only 2.

Your current waiver will suffice for an extension of your existing J1 internship.  Be certain that your program issues a new I-20 to you to show your extended status.
