Hello,

I'm 16 and for the summer I was wanting to do the summer exchange where I go to another country for a few weeks like 2-6 , I'm leaning towards England but this being my first time I am unaware of any good organizations that would fit what I'm looking for. If anyone who has any experience with this can help me I would be very thankful.

=)

  1. Hi,

One of the biggest problems you may face now is timing. You must contact an organization very soon. I suspect applications are closing, especially since placement is already underway for next year's students.

To find a program, make sure it is CSIET listed (www.csiet.org). You should also check with your high school counselor for a recommendation. Chances are he/she works with exchange students that go to your school. A program is only as good as its local representatives. Generally, Aspect, AFS, Rotary and YFU are reliable everywhere.

    Good luck!

  2. Type ASSE in Google. Im currently arranging for my exchange programme with them, you can choose to do a full year or for the Summer.
