Just put currency converter into google and you will come up with many sites. at the moment there are just over 7421 Indonesian rupiah to the australian dollar. Have you heard about the travel card you can now get from the bank. Ask them about it,I believe it's very good. Sounds like you have a debit card that should be fine but have some cash with you always handy. A short term visa is issued on arrival allowing you to stay as a visitor for up to 30 days. Have cash on you, as alot of things in bali are so cheap you dont need credit, but for larger purchases like hotels and meals have your pre paid credit card handy
