Excited About Diablo 3?

Question

I found out about it a few months ago and i almost cried. I have been waiting for this for a long time. The videos are amazing. So, when do you think it will come out, what kinds of things do you think the will keep from D2?

Also, on a second note if you play D2, or used to and don't play anymore, i don't suppose i could borrow, or have some items? I lost em all from expirations. Thanks for the input!

I'm giving it a minimum of 2 years till it comes out, and I'm completely serious about that estimate.  So I'm not trying to get too excited about it.  I don't want to get my hopes up too far just to wait forever.
