Exciting contest predicted in Monmore’s Owners Bonus Series - Heat 2
Slaneyside Titan, Mosslane Pam and Georgia Elokobi have been declared co-favourites for second heat of the Owners Bonus Series, being held at Monmore on Monday, April 23, 2012.
According to the schedule, the 480 metres flat heat will start at 16:27 GMT. The abovementioned three hounds are all set to unleash their talent against Drive On Pal, Beautys Bash and Isas Pet. A purse of £96 is reserved for
the triumphant hound.
Slaneyside Titan is capable of attaining an early lead. In each of the last five races, the black dog showed an early pace. If J. Walters’ trainee manages to gain a decent lead in the beginning, his rivals will be under immense
pressure.
The son of Royal Impact started off this month with a fine performance, sealing the top spot by two and a quarter lengths. He went on to clinch another comprehensive win, beating Karaoke Carly by one and a half lengths on April
13th.
After two fantastic performances, the hound was expected to complete his hat-trick last time around. However, he missed the mega opportunity and completed the order of finish last week.
An ordinary show might have dented his confidence to some extent, but one cannot afford to take him lightly.
Georgia Elokobi is also h**l-bent to regain her momentum. After grabbing a close win on April 10th, the black b***h was not able to carry forward her good work and as a result, finished fourth last time out.
Similarly, Mosslane Pam is aiming to put her campaign back on the winning ways. At the end of March, the black b***h did a great job to ensure the top place by 2¾ lengths.
However, she failed to continue with the same momentum afterwards and did nothing special in both of her previous races.
Isas Pet is unlikely to prove popular amongst the punters today. Drive On Pal’s hopes of catching the judge's eye look distinctly slim. Similarly, Beautys Bash would find it hard to make a compelling argument for this one.
The stats show that it is going to be a nail-biting battle among Slaneyside Titan, Mosslane Pam and Georgia Elokobi. We wish the best of luck to everyone.
