Excluding the cost of oil, how much does it cost to produce a gallon of gas?

I am courious as to the actual 'cost' of a gallon of gasoline! as we know there is at least a 150-450 % profit for the foreign countries selling their oil.

  1. Let's see.  If Exxon-Mobil makes 9% profit, and gas is $3/gal, then 2.73.  The government(s) get more than .27/gal in taxes.

    Quit driving if you can't afford the gas.
