Exclusion of Pakistani players from IPL baffles Amir Sohail – Cricket News Update
Amir Sohail, the former Pakistani international, has questioned the BCCI’s (Board of Control for Cricket in India) decision not to consider Pakistani players for the ongoing season of Indian Premier League season five.
The cricketer turned analyst does not find any valid reason, as to why Pakistani cricketers are intentionally being ignored from the cash rich league, while players from other nations are allowed to take part.

Referring to the Hockey tournament, Sohail said that if hockey players are allowed to play in Indian leagues same should be the case for cricketers.
“When our players can go and play in the World Series Hockey, I don't understand why not in the IPL. No one appears to have a logical explanation for this,” said the left-handed batsman.

“The PCB and even the government should find out the cause for this issue. The PCB must ask the BCCI why only Pakistani players are not allowed to take part in the IPL.”
