Excursions on thomson destiny cruise ship fom madeira to canaries?

What about them?

Haven't been on the Destiny, but went to the Canaries on another Thomson ship. You can walk to the beach from the ship on the little island of La Palma. The island tour (or half tour) is worth it in Madeira, but it's close enough to walk to the town of Funchal. I found the tour to Las Palmas, Gran Canaria not so good. The day we landed in Teneriffe - it was closed (saints day)
