Well, I play volleyball. So I regularly go outside to practice with my friends or my mom, etc. I wear my volleyball clothes, just like anyone else would. When I go out and there are always guys in my neighborhood yelling "d**n, your hot!" "Like your shorts" "Whats your number baby?" And all of that. I HATE it. My boyfriend hates it too. They always go and torment him saying "Tell your girlfriend I say hi" and all of that. What do I say to these guys? I can't ignore them any longer.

Yes, you CAN ignore them and that's just what you should do.

As soon as you answer them, you are in a conversation or dialogue with them. You say something, they respond, you say something back ... and on it goes.

And if they are a certain type, they will take conversation as invitation to get 'friendly'.

Ignore them, and go about your business like they don't exist.

They'll either get sick of it after a while, or you will start to not notice them at all.

If you know who they are you can call the police and report them for harassing you.  I would continue to ignore them though.

If they can't get a rise out of you their game will eventually end.  You have to have willing players to play.
