I am looking to create, more or less, an advanced video play list in Firefox with direct links to video files located on my hard drive. I want the clicked link to open windows media player as if I double clicked the file and NOT to open within Firefox.

If this is not possible, does anyone know of a program where I could create an HTML shell which will execute windows media player?

I want it to look like this:

http://onepiece.wikia.com/wiki/Episode_Guide

And then after creating a link to the video file on my hard drive to open EXTERNALLY via windows media player. The whole purpose is to have the description and title look "pretty"

  1. I'm pretty sure you can probably just use simple code to launch windows media player via whatever browser the person is using.
