Executiveprivilege – the blossoming star of Todd Pletcher’s stable
With three victories in three starts, Todd Pletcher’s charge, Executiveprivilege, will now try out for bigger and better opportunities and might take her chances in the Grade 1 Del Mar Debutante which will be hosted on 1st September,
2012 at Del Mar Race Course.
The juvenile started her brilliant streak of success when she broke her maiden at the Betfair Hollywood Park, and defeated, Renee's Queen, over 5 ½ furlongs.
Owned by Michael E. Pegram, Karl Watson and Paul Weitman, the filly scored another easy victory in the Landaluce Stakes at the Betfair Hollywood Park on 14th July, 2012.

The filly catapulted forward, courtesy her amazing turn of foot, and landed an immense victory over, Speedinthruthecity, over the course of 6 furlongs.
The next stop for the daughter of First Samurai  was the Grade 3 Sorrento Stakes at Del Mar, where she had to face other competitors over the course of 6 ½ furlongs.

It goes without saying that she won the race and defeated, Speedinthruthecity, for the second time.
It was not an easy victory as Speedinthruthecity was a constant threat to the filly, but the trainee of Bob Baffert did what she was told and kept the competition at bay. As a result of this, she completed the race in 1 minute and 16.96 seconds.
The early lead was taken by Renee's Titan and Bares Tripper, while Executiveprivilege pursued in third. She made her move in the closing stages.
Rider Rafael Bejarano is also the reason for her success, since he mounted her in all her starts. After winning the Sorrento Stakes, the rider told the press that:
"When I asked her to run, she ran."
The jockey further stated that the talented filly should not have any trouble taking on larger distances as he told the press:
"She's very good. We wanted to let her run late today—[Baffert] wants to get her ready for longer races. And I think she'll be fine with that."
Now, that the juvenile has tasted a graded victory, there is no stopping her. She seems to have it all and with further practice and experience, she will be the one to watch out for.
