my uncle left 2me , my sister , an 4cousin in his will, a share in his flat,

(no solicitors are involved ) we have just been informed by the executor of the will, that the flat is not to be sold as yet, and that it has been rented out , we wanted it to be sold, is this legally right that the executor can do this, without telling us ? an is there anything we can do?

  1. It very much depends on the wording of the will. You need a copy of the will which you are entitled to and the advice of a Solicitor.

  2. Unless the executor has specific instructions to do so, then it can't be legal for him to do that. Is the legality of the will in question if no solicitors were involved? I'm just a legal secretary so not an expert, get advice from a solicitor yourselves.
