Exercise for my legs "tips for soccer"

ok guys, i am good at hitting the ball during soccer games from short distance to goal but from long distances,i always get afraid that i might tear a muscle or something and so when i hit it, it is always weak..is there any advice on how to exercise my leg muscles to make them stronger so i can the ball from afar or should i just try hitting the ball more often.

  1. Try putting something in the ground so that you can jump back and forward really fast and your gonna see that  it works your muscles. Also try puting some weights. Start light and then work your way out :-)


  2. There are large bands you can buy to strengthen your leg muscles. Also make sure your constantly running, the more miles the better that should keep your muscles prepared. Use a medicine ball and hold it with your two legs up in the air then do regular leg lifts but with a weight on your legs will make it harder. Make sure your always stretching too! That will loosen your leg muscles and reduce the risk of injuring yourself.  

  3. put 1 five pund weight in each hand..and you know those step things? one leg at a time, with hand and weights down at side, step up then down and repeat. also lay on your side supporting your head and leg touching floor pointing knee out. leg on top pull up towards chest then out staright and touch ground. repeat on other side.
