Question:

Exercise jump start period?

I rode my bike around 7 miles today, with a break in between. My period should start on Wednesday (I'm on the pill, but I was on antibiotics earlier this month and used a back-up method during s*x). I'm spotting today, a few hours after ending my bike ride, and I typically don't do exercise like that. I don't think it's breakthrough bleeding because I last had s*x on Monday, and the pill was effective again, and we used a condom. I'm just wondering if it's normal for my period to start sooner because of exercising.

  1. No, not because of exercising. I'd say it could be because of the antibiotics, though.
