  1. Theres certain yoga classes for pregnant women ?

  2. You need to do a lighter form of exercise while pregnant. You can still swim, just don't do it so intensely.

  3. Excercise is really important during pregnancy and can help with labour and everything. You have to be really careful what kinds of excercise you do though because over exerting yourself or pulling too much on your stomach muscles can cause problems.

Swimming is great but you need to be careful you're not stretching out too much while swimming and putting extra pressure on your uterus.

Back in the old days they used to tell you not to raise your arms over your head because it can make you miscarry, not exactly true, but sudden stretching or pulling of the abdomen can contribute to tearing the baby or placenta away from the lining which can cause bleeding, pain and even miscarriage, but it's unlikely.

Just rest and be gentle with your stomach for a couple of days and when you feel better do gentle swimming excercises.

Monitor the pain you're having and if it gets worse, consult your doctor. Around this time of pregnancy is when you start feeling muscles pulling in that area anyway so you might have just pulled or strained some muscles in that area

  4. If it hurts don't do it.

  5. I would take it easy, but not worry too much.  You get all kinds of aches and pains while pregnant, especially in the first trimester.  Mention it to your doctor if you are really worried.  That's what they are there for.  Walking durring pregnancy is really great too!
