So about 2 months ago I injured my ankle. I kept it off for about a week and half and decided to go back to my normal routine. This was for about a month now, and now that I am in vacation and amd not doing any sports I have rested it for about a month and I think it has either healed a bit, or it just doesnt hurt as much because I dont exercise. I hope to rest it for another month or however long it takes but I really want to go back to my normal routine. How long do you think it will take to heal?? Is there any permanent damage? This all getting me nervous.... and no I cannot get it checked by a doctor until next month because I am not in my home country at the moment. help please!!

  1. Well I have a toe sprain and a heel spur and I play a lot of futball so I have to use my foot all the time to control the ball. Im in the similar situation where I just want to go out and practice my shooting and control and get into the normal routine but I can't go out because I know deep down that if I just take care of my toe and foot and give it a rest, it will get better. What I do is put ice on it all day, do something like watch tv, watch a random football match, watch a movie, take tylenol 2 times a day. I take aspirin for a heel spur. Im willing to give it a few months because I know that if I just rest and the sprain goes back into place, I will have all of the time to play because if I play like this, I will never heal but if I rest, I will play more. It's a sacrifice. Either you rest now and do things right or face the consequences into worsening your ankle!

I hope this helps and I hope you take proper mesures to fix your ankle.
