  1. have some 1 stand a good distance in front of you then bump the ball to your partner and they will set it back to you and you will spike it to them and keep doing the same thing over and over again.

  2. There a hundreds of exercises you can do. But most of them are with a few people, or a partner. If you have friends willing to work with you, you can practice your spikes(hits),sets, and bumps. A good setting exercise is going up to a wall and setting the ball, very close to the wall, about 100 times a day. and try to work your way up to 500. It will hurt, but every great player needs to learn how to set. An all around good exercise is playing the ball of a wall, and just hitting it up against it. If you can get to a volleyball net, practice hitting, because you need your timing down. bumping to yourself over and over teaches control of the ball. and make sure you get low while passing. Try running every week a fair amount. and if you have a gym to go to, lift weights and work with machines that will work the muscles you play volleyball with.

  3. well. u can do suicides or supermans.

(if ur in volleyball u should know wat those r)

  4. You should probably start to run.  I am have been playing volleyball for about 5 years and for tryouts we had to run a mile in under 8 minutes so you have to work hard.  But don't over do it and condition almost every other day.

  5. it depends what area you want to get better in skill wise or physical strength

skill wise you can get some private lessons, depends on your position and what you want to get better at.

ask your coach or your club coach for references

    physically like conditioning and stuff

    20 minute run 3 times a week

10 minutes of jump rope will tone you and increase your vertical

30 push ups and crunches will strengthen your muscles, and you upper body will get stronger

  6. wow if u cant run a mile in under 8 mins ur out of shape i have been playing volleyball since i was born....and i ran a mile in under 7 with a pulled groin also jump rope every day and that will help with a lot including your vertical i do that and plyometrics twice a week which helped me get a 38 inch vertical

  7. Try going for a Rec. Team first
