Exercises to help do a back kickover?

I need help bad! I have been trying to do one forever! I can do a backbend tho. And i can kick off the ground like a tiny bit but not enough to go over. I dont think my arms are strong enough. So any daily exercises for my arms and my core would be perfect! I really need to learn this for cheerleading! PLease help and thank you!!

  1. well i have a lot of experience in that i got mine in like a week . what you need to do is keep trying over and over again because its not your arms its your legs you need to get them stronger so you can kick over just as long as keep your arms locked you should have no problem

  2. work on crunches. you do need a strong core. try it with your feet already elevated while your in the backbend. start with something 10 inches tall. when you can kick over off of that, use something smaller. eventually you will get it from the ground. good luck.
